UCR - Harvard Teaching and Learning Center

Excellent Learning through Teaching Excellence

The aim of the University College Roosevelt - Harvard Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning (TLC) is to foster excellent learning in higher education by providing senior instructors at university colleges and universities of applied science with knowledge, understanding and skills derived from state-of-the-art teaching excellence experiences and research. Instructors from two teaching centers of excellence,

Harvard University's Teaching and Learning Center (the Bok Center) and UCR, will through hands-on training provide experienced, senior instructors with the knowledge and skills to move from expert teaching to excellent teaching. The TLC will also provide them with the tools to disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills to colleagues in their respective institutions as well as to apply it in their own day-to-day teaching.

The TLC is an intensive four-day program offered in June and part of the UCR Summer School. For more information please check UCR Summer School or send an email to!
